This week begins the 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal. We encourage all to watch the brief 2018 ACA video online at work and services made possible through your donation to the Annual Catholic Appeal help people in Brooklyn and Queens in ways that no one parish can alone. We thank all who participated with a gift to the 2017 Appeal and ask that everyone prayerfully consider making a gift to the 2018 Appeal.  Material for the 2018 ACA will be mailed to all who are on our DP Murphy mailing list. Material is also available at both churches.




Ash Wednesday & Fridays of Lent are DAYS OF ABSTINENCE — No meat for Catholics over the age of 14.

Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are DAYS OF FAST — limit one FULL meal for Catholics between the ages of 18 & 59 inclusive.

6-HOUR DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS POINT AND INSURANCE REDUCTION PROGRAM will be held Thursday,  March 8th & 15th in Springman Hall, 7 - 10 pm. You must attend BOTH nights. Fee: $45, payment in full guarantees a seat. For attending this class you will receive 10% discount off Liability for 3 years and up to 4 points off your Drivers License. Father Dunne Memorial Fund

The parish is establishing a Fund in memory of Father James Dunne. Anyone who wishes to make a donation is asked to write the check to "St. Camillus - St. Virgilius Church" and on the memo line, please indicate "Father Dunne Memorial Fund". In the spirit of Father Dunne, this fund will be used to assist people of our parish. A Memorial Leaf in St. Virgilius Tree of Life and a Memorial Brick in St. Camillus Garden have been dedicated in honor of Fr. Dunne.
